Q: What ticket sizes do you offer?
A: We offer two ticket sizes:
Q: What file format should I submit?
A: All artwork must be submitted as a PDF. Your PDF should be flattened and in CMYK color mode to ensure accurate color reproduction and compatibility.
Q: What are the bleed requirements?
A: Please include a bleed of 0.0625″ on all sides. This means your 5″ x 2″ design should actually be sized at 5.125″ x 2.125″, and your 8.5″ x 2.75″ design should be sized at 8.625″ x 2.875″. The bleed ensures there are no unwanted white edges after trimming.
Q: Do you offer perforation options?
A: Yes, we offer a 2″ perforation option. If you’d like this feature on your tickets, please be sure to indicate it when placing your order.
Q: What is variable data numbering?
A: Variable data numbering allows each ticket to have a unique number (or sequence) printed on it. This feature is ideal for raffles or events where tracking individual tickets is important. Let us know if you would like to include this option with your order.
Q: What does it mean that the PDF must be “flattened”?
A: Flattening a PDF means merging all layers into a single layer. This process helps avoid issues with transparency and overlapping elements, ensuring that your file prints correctly.
Q: Why are the provided file dimensions slightly larger than the final ticket size?
A: The provided dimensions include the bleed. The extra 0.125″ in width and height (for each ticket size) is necessary to ensure that the printed ticket is trimmed perfectly without any white margins.
Q: What happens if my file doesn’t meet these specifications?
A: Files that do not meet the required format, bleed, or color specifications (flattened PDF, CMYK, correct bleed) may be delayed or returned for revision. Please double-check your file before submission to ensure a smooth printing process.
Q: Can I design my own tickets?
A: Absolutely! You are welcome to design your own tickets following the above guidelines. If you need design assistance, feel free to contact us—our team is here to help.
Q: Who do I contact if I have more questions?
