Celebrating 2024 Hospital Week with Columbus Regional Healthcare System: A Custom Screen Printing Project

Hospital Week is a time to honor and celebrate the dedication and hard work of healthcare teams, and this year, Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC, went all out to show their appreciation. At Mr. Postman Print Shop, we were thrilled to partner with them to create custom t-shirts that highlighted the spirit and teamwork of their healthcare professionals.

Design Details
This project involved a thoughtful and meaningful design that showcased the pride and unity of the Columbus Regional team. We started with a stylish blue heather t-shirt that offered both comfort and a modern look. The shirt featured two unique print areas:

• Front Left Chest: A clean, one-color design in white ink displayed the Columbus Regional logo. The simplicity of this design provided a professional and timeless feel, ideal for a healthcare setting.
• Back Design: The back of the shirt featured a striking three-color collage of health-themed words arranged in the shape of a cross. Words like “Compassion,” “Teamwork,” “Dedication,” and “Care” were intricately placed to create a powerful visual representation of the values that drive Columbus Regional Healthcare System.

The Printing Process
To achieve the perfect result, we utilized our state-of-the-art Workhorse Sabre automatic press. Here’s how we brought the design to life:

1. Artwork Prep: We collaborated with Columbus Regional to finalize the word collage design, ensuring the text arrangement and colors were both eye-catching and meaningful.
2. Screen Setup: Separate screens were prepared for the white left chest logo and the three-color back design, ensuring crisp, detailed prints.
3. Printing: The front design’s one-color white ink was applied seamlessly, while the back design required precise registration to align the three colors perfectly. Our team’s expertise ensured vibrant, consistent results.
4. Inspection: Every shirt underwent a thorough quality check to guarantee flawless alignment and ink coverage.

The Final Product
The finished shirts were a hit! The soft, blue heather fabric paired with the high-quality prints created a perfect blend of comfort and style. The left chest logo added a professional touch, while the intricate back design highlighted the teamwork and values that make Columbus Regional Healthcare System special.
