From Photography to Performance: Transforming a Trailer for East Columbus High School Band

At Mr. Postman Print Shop, we thrive on projects that let us get creative while serving our local community. When East Columbus High School approached us to convert a former Fuller Royal Photography trailer into their official band trailer, we knew it would be a fun and meaningful challenge.

The Starting Point: A Trailer with a Past

The trailer came to us still bearing the original Fuller Royal Photography graphics, a remnant of its previous life. Our first task was to remove these outdated graphics to create a clean canvas for the high school band’s new look. Using a heat gun and some elbow grease, we carefully stripped away the old vinyl, preparing the surface for its next chapter.

A Fresh Design for a Fresh Start

With the trailer prepped and ready, it was time to give the East Columbus High School Band a design that would make them proud. Here’s what we created:

Custom Logo Design:
We worked closely with the band to create a unique and dynamic logo that represents their spirit and talent. The bold design incorporates their school colors and prominently features their name, ensuring everyone knows who’s bringing the music.
Sleek Graphics for a Small Trailer:
While the trailer was compact, we maximized the design’s impact by focusing on clean, striking visuals that pop against the trailer’s surface.
Durability and Style:
To ensure the graphics would stand up to the wear and tear of travel and outdoor use, we used high-quality vinyl printed and laminated for a vibrant, long-lasting finish.

The Transformation: Ready to Hit the Road

The finished trailer is a proud representation of the East Columbus High School Band. Whether they’re traveling to competitions, performances, or community events, the trailer now serves as a mobile billboard for their talent and dedication.

This project was particularly rewarding because of its connection to the local community. Supporting the East Columbus High School Band in showcasing their identity and talent was a privilege, and we’re thrilled to see them hit the road in style.

I had a very positive experience dealing with the owner and employees at Mr. Postman Print Shop! My unusual requirements for a combination of banners, photo enlargements & commercial displays for a Celebration of Life Gathering was placed in haste, and I honestly did not think they would be able to fulfill the order in time. But the owner's "Anything for a buck!" professionalism came through for me wonderfully in time. He not only fulfilled the order in time, he was able to make the subjects of the photo look 14 years younger. Yes, the experience could have been a little more satisfying if they had served the wine at the proper temperature and had served imported cheeses instead of the domestic brands, but I overlooked those obvious shortcomings when they provided the foot massage and backrubs after my credit card was approved. (Be sure to call ahead for the valet parking and free car wash.) I was pleased with the experience and have already planned to use them again at my next funeral!!

We have gotten several promotional items for our business and they are always affordable, accurate and on time. Jonathan even went to the trouble of matching up some hats we had gotten from a previous supplier to keep the look consistent. Definitely will be using Mr. Postman Print Shop for future projects!
