How We Modernized Edgewood Elementary’s Multi-Purpose Building with Window Perf Graphics

This unique project marked a milestone for us—our first installation using 80/20 perforated window vinyl instead of the more commonly used 70/30. The result? The Challenge
Edgewood Elementary, home of the Wolfies, wanted to give their multi-purpose building a fresh, cohesive look. Their mascot’s logo, originally hand-drawn, carried sentimental value but lacked the polish needed for a large-scale project. Additionally, the 80/20 perforated vinyl offered a new opportunity to experiment with better visibility from the inside while maintaining a clean and bold exterior appearance.
The Process
Logo Redesign: The school’s Wolfies logo was an essential part of their identity. We took great care to redraw the logo, preserving its original charm while giving it a slightly modernized look. This updated design ensured it would look sharp and professional on the expansive windows of the multi-purpose building.
Material Selection: Opting for 80/20 perforated vinyl allowed us to create high-impact graphics that maintain one-way visibility. This was the ideal choice for a multi-purpose building, where functionality and design needed to go hand-in-hand.
Printing and Laminating: Using our state-of-the-art printers, we brought the refreshed Wolfies logo and other design elements to life. To protect the graphics and enhance their longevity, we applied Arlon’s Optically Clear Laminate, ensuring the design would stay vibrant for years to come.
Installation: The multi-purpose building’s large windows were the perfect canvas for this project. Our team carefully installed the panels, aligning the graphics seamlessly across the surface. I had a very positive experience dealing with the owner and employees at Mr. Postman Print Shop! My unusual requirements for a combination of banners, photo enlargements & commercial displays for a Celebration of Life Gathering was placed in haste, and I honestly did not think they would be able to fulfill the order in time. But the owner's "Anything for a buck!" professionalism came through for me wonderfully in time. He not only fulfilled the order in time, he was able to make the subjects of the photo look 14 years younger. Yes, the experience could have been a little more satisfying if they had served the wine at the proper temperature and had served imported cheeses instead of the domestic brands, but I overlooked those obvious shortcomings when they provided the foot massage and backrubs after my credit card was approved. (Be sure to call ahead for the valet parking and free car wash.) I was pleased with the experience and have already planned to use them again at my next funeral!!
We have gotten several promotional items for our business and they are always affordable, accurate and on time.
