Graphics Installer and Print Production Assistant

Mr. Postman Print Shop was established in 2021 in Whiteville, NC. We’re a growing, full-service print and graphics shop offering in-house printing for marketing materials, signage, vinyl graphics, apparel, and more. We take pride in serving schools, businesses, and community organizations with high-quality design, printing, and installation services.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Graphics Installer to join our team. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, with a mix of on-site installation work and in-shop production support. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn the trade. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

Key Responsibilities

Installation Work (Field & On-Site):

  • Install large-format vinyl graphics (window perf, storefront graphics, vehicle and trailer wraps).
  • Mount signage on buildings, including stud-mounted acrylic letters and post & rail sign kits.
  • Apply self-adhesive vinyl graphics to sign boards and rigid surfaces.
  • Take accurate jobsite measurements and create installation diagrams.

Production Support (In-Shop, as needed):

  • Assist with banner production.
  • Laminate vinyl graphics.
  • Trim, weed, and mask vinyl graphics for jobs.
  • Organize and prepare graphics for installation.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Handy with tools such as drills, saws, measuring tools, and other basic installation equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow measurements accurately.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic, honesty, and dependability are essential.
  • Must have a valid NC driver’s license.

Experience

  • No prior experience required – training provided.
  • Prior experience in sign installation, construction, carpentry, or related fields is a plus.
