Empowering Future Leaders: Whiteville High School FBLA Screen Print Project

At Mr. Postman Print Shop, we love collaborating with local schools to bring their creative visions to life. Our recent project with Whiteville High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) was a perfect blend of creativity, school pride, and inspiration. These custom t-shirts were designed to celebrate the achievements of the FBLA while inspiring students to dream big.

Design Details
The t-shirts, printed on soft and stylish heather gray fabric, featured a meaningful and visually striking two-color design that utilized the school’s bold colors: royal blue and orange. The design included two print areas:

• Front Left Chest: A clean and professional FBLA logo in royal blue and orange, representing the pride and unity of Whiteville High School’s FBLA chapter.
• Back Design: The back of the shirt featured a unique student-drawn illustration that depicted a student gazing into a mirror, envisioning themselves as a future business leader. The mirror image, surrounded by thoughtful details, served as a powerful symbol of ambition, growth, and self-reflection—values that are at the heart of FBLA.

The Printing Process
Producing this intricate design required precision and expertise. Here’s how we brought the t-shirts to life:

1. Artwork Preparation: The student’s drawing was carefully refined to ensure that every detail—from the mirror’s reflection to the intricate linework—translated beautifully onto fabric.
2. Color Selection: The royal blue and orange were perfectly matched to Whiteville High School’s colors, ensuring a vibrant and cohesive look.
3. Screen Setup: Separate screens were created for each color, allowing us to layer the royal blue and orange with perfect alignment.
4. Printing: Our team used the Workhorse Sabre automatic press to deliver clean, vibrant prints on the heather gray shirts. The combination of the soft fabric and bold colors created a visually stunning and comfortable final product.

Why Heather Gray?
Heather gray was an excellent choice for this project, providing a neutral yet stylish backdrop that allowed the royal blue and orange to stand out. The subtle texture of the heather fabric also added depth and sophistication to the design.

The Final Product
The finished t-shirts were more than just apparel—they were a statement of pride and aspiration. Each shirt celebrated the creativity and talent of Whiteville High School students while reinforcing the values of leadership and self-belief that FBLA promotes. The students were thrilled with the design, and the shirts were a big hit among the FBLA chapter.
