At Mr. Postman Print Shop, we take pride in solving problems while enhancing the look and feel of spaces. Our recent project at Williams Township School, a K-8 school in the Columbus County Schools system, was a perfect example. This project not only transformed the school’s massive windows but also addressed significant sun exposure issues that had been causing discomfort for students and staff.
Williams Township School’s large windows presented a unique opportunity for impactful design, but their size also meant the school faced challenges with glare and heat from the sun. To tackle these issues and create a design that reflected the school’s identity, we used 80/20 perforated window vinyl. This material reduces sun exposure while still allowing for clear visibility from the inside. To ensure long-lasting protection and vibrant graphics, we applied Arlon’s Optically Clear Laminate to the vinyl.
Reaching the towering windows required the use of a lift, showcasing our ability to handle projects of all sizes and complexities.
The installation transformed the appearance of Williams Township School’s windows, creating a striking visual statement while effectively addressing their sun exposure issues. The new graphics not only improve comfort by reducing glare and heat but also enhance privacy and security. Students, staff, and visitors can now enjoy a space that’s both functional and inspiring.
